Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

Important notice

By accessing or using RoadReady AI you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. RoadReady AI is a product of PacificAI Systems Inc., Beaumont, Alberta, Canada. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service and who may use it

RoadReady AI is software for Alberta Class 1 commercial driver training schools. It provides lesson scheduling, instructor and vehicle management, student records, hours and compliance tracking, instructor signoffs, billing tools, and a student portal (the “Service”).

The Service is offered to driving schools and their staff (the “School”). The person accepting these terms must be at least 18 and authorized to bind the School. The School is responsible for all activity under its account, including activity by its administrators, instructors, and students.

2. Accounts and access

  • Keep credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
  • The School decides which staff receive administrator, instructor, or other roles, and is responsible for removing access when someone leaves.
  • Students access the Service only through the School's student portal and only to their own records.
  • Information you provide, including during sign-up and demo requests, must be accurate and kept current.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • falsify training hours, signoffs, attendance, or any compliance record;
  • access another school's data, or attempt to bypass security, access controls, or usage limits;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or use the Service to harass others;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from the Service; or
  • use the Service in violation of applicable law, including Alberta driver training and privacy requirements.

4. Regulatory compliance is the School's responsibility

RoadReady AI helps schools track hours, programs, and requirements for the Alberta Class 1 learning pathway and enforces configured scheduling rules. It is a tool, not legal or regulatory advice. The School remains solely responsible for meeting the requirements of Alberta Transportation and any other regulator or insurer, for the accuracy of the records it enters, and for the quality, supervision, and safety of the training it delivers. Always verify current program requirements against official sources.

5. Your data

As between you and us, the School owns the data it and its users enter into the Service (“School Data”), including student, instructor, vehicle, and scheduling records. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display School Data solely to provide and support the Service. The School is responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents to collect and enter personal information about its students and staff. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

6. Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at purchase, through our payment processor. Fees are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude applicable taxes. Plans may include usage limits, such as the number of students or instructors. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal. If payment fails we may suspend access after reasonable notice.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting and database services, payment processing, and email delivery. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and your use of any of them is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for failures of third-party services.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and we may add, change, or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce functionality you rely on. Schools should keep their own copies of records they are required to retain; the export tools in the Service are provided for that purpose.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PacificAI Systems Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of revenue or data, regulatory penalties, or loss of licensing or accreditation, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

The School will defend and indemnify PacificAI Systems Inc. against third-party claims arising from School Data, the School's breach of these terms, or the School's training operations, except to the extent caused by our breach of these terms.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, or conduct that threatens the security or integrity of the Service. After termination you may request an export of School Data for a reasonable period, after which data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal retention obligations.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. We will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith by written notice to the other party; failing that, the courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the Service, and take effect on the date stated. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
